It is 3pm and we are racing against the sun, which is now heavy, honey-tinged and grazing the dusted peaks of the Wadi Mujib Biosphere Reserve. My partner and I have been driving along the meandering King’s Highway through Jordan for hours now, just to catch the sunset over this Unesco site.
